Vineyard 31 believes in the blue-collar traditions that built the great state of California at the turn of the 19th century. Their desire is to provide the richest wines by enabling old world techniques, using minimal modern day equipment. Like the railroad workers, miners and farmers of yesteryear, wines are made best with hard work and quality resources. As Vineyard 31 states, we want to be True to Our Roots.
Mutt wanted to give Vineyard 31 a brand that emphasized those traditional beliefs. Each label visually connects tools and winemaking into one, creating a cohesive campaign while differentiating the various wine types. Topographical elements were used to further tie in the Vineyard’s roots to the 31st state.
